Manchester United move clear at the top of the Premier League Table

The Manchester United football club has thrashed bottom placed West Bromwich Albion 5-nil at the Hawthorns to move three points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo struck two late goals for the Reds after Dimitar Berbatov, Carlos Tevez and Nemanja Vidic had put the champions in control against a 10-man West Brom.

United now have 50 points from 22 games.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa climbed into third place on 47 points after beating Portsmouth 1-nil and Tottenham Hotspur eased their relegation fears with a 3-1 home win over Stoke City and Sunderland beat Fulham 1-nil..
