Breakers coach says losing close to the playoffs has benefits

The New Zealand Breakers' basketball coach says there's no need to panic despite the side losing four of its last five games and with only three rounds left before the playoffs.

The Breakers have been bumped down to third place after back to back losses to Melbourne and face the table topping South Dragons in Auckland tonight.

However coach Andrej Lemanis says losing to the top teams this close to the playoffs might not be a bad thing.

Lemanis says the Breakers will have to regain their offensive rhythm to have any chance of beating the Dragons tonight.
