Juve suffer second successive Serie A defeat

The Juventus football side's chances of catching Serie A leaders Inter Milan have been dented, following a 3-2 home defeat to Cagliari.

Alessandro Matri's strike 12 minutes from time sank second-placed Juve and gives Inter the chance to extend their advantage to nine points with a home win over lowly Torino on Monday.

Claudio Ranieri's side, who lost 2-1 at Udinese on Thursday, came back from 1-0 down to take the lead but then left huge holes at the back for strikers Jeda and Matri to score carbon-copy goals.

Fabio Quagliarella earlier smashed in a stunning 20-metre volley to give Udinese a 2-2 draw at faltering Napoli.
