Thousands of black-and-gold clad fans have braved icy conditions in downtown Pittsburgh to cheer on Super Bowl champion Steelers in a victory parade.

The Steelers notched a record sixth title with their 27-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Florida.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin yelled to the crowd, Steelers Nation, you leave us all speechless, how about the greatest fans in the world, how about number six.

Pittsburgh's triumph snapped a three-way tie with the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers who each have five Super Bowl crowns.
