Injury cloud over Stoner

The Australian motorcyle star Casey Stoner's bid to reclaim the world MotoGP championship is in serious trouble.

Stoner's still bothered by a troublesome left wrist which continues to hamper his career.

The Ducati star was unable to ride more than a handful of laps at a time on the opening day of this week's test at Sepang in Malaysia because of pain.

Stoner underwent an operation to repair scaphoid damage in the arm late last year and was expecting to be fully fit ahead of the first MotoGP race in Qatar on April 12th.
