Tough day ahead for NZ sevens team

2:50 pm on 7 February 2009

The New Zealand rugby sevens team has a tough day ahead of them if they are to defend their Wellington crown in the IRB series.

The New Zealanders finished top of their group, despite losing to Wales first up yesterday and they now meet South Africa in the quarter-finals, after the series leading Boks were upset by Kenya in their last pool match.

In today's other quarter-finals Kenya play Wales, the United States play Argentina and Fiji play England.
