The boxer Ricky Hatton has hailed compatriot Joe Calzaghe as Britain's greatest boxing world champion after the unbeaten super-middleweight announced his retirement.
Calzaghe won all his 46 fights over a 16 year career during which he held the WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF super-middleweight belts.
Hatton says given Calzaghe's record and how long he has been champion, he is the best British world champion of all time.
Calzaghe himself says he has nothing left to prove in boxing.
