The South African cricketers have dominated in Australia this summer but not all of them have been doing it for their homeland.

The New Zealand allrounder Grant Elliott has continued his impressive start to his international one-day career scoring 115 runs and taking two wickets against Australia in the third one-dayer at the SCG.

The home side registered a much-needed 32-run victory but born-and-bred South African Elliott has quickly become a thorn in Australia's side.

After playing just 14 one-day internationals, the 29-year-old has a batting average of 83 and has claimed 11 wickets.

Elliot left South Africa in his early 20s before making his Test and one-day debuts for New Zealand last year.
