Team New Zealand will go into the final the Louis Vuitton Pacific series being sailed on Auckland's Waitemata harbour with confidence bruised by a decisive loss in the last race of round robin two.

BMW Oracle won by 27 seconds after leading from start to finish.

In today's other races, Alinghi beat Luna Rossa, and Damiani Italia beat Team Origin.

The Greek Challenge bowed out beating South Africa's Shosholoza in the wooden spoon race.

The regatta now moves on to the knockout rounds with Team New Zealand not reappearing until the best of seven final scheduled to start on Friday, and Alinghi sitting it out until the Challenger Final.
