The Motueka motocross rider Josh Coppins says it feels great to start a new season injury free.
The Yamaha rider has had a frustrating couple of years, which has seen him just miss out on the MX1 world title because of various injuries..
Coppins had his first outing at an event in Italy and he says he's been able to concentrate 100 percent on his strenght and fitness during the off-season and that has now allowed him to concentrate on racing rather than anything else.
Coppins finished 5th in the event.
He'll stay in Italy this week in order to test and prepare ahead of the first round of the Italian Championship next weekend in Montevarchi.
