The former Kiwi and Warriors halfback Stacey Jones isn't expecting a return to his role as "The Little General" tonight in his first appearance for the National Rugby League club since 2005.
Coach Ivan Cleary expects Jones to get some time on the field in the opening trial match against the Melbourne Storm at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.
Jones sees himself as more of a Lieutenant now and says there's no question that the form Nathan Fien showed last year for the clubs and the Kiwis makes him the incumbent.
