The New Zealand Breakers are back to winning ways on the road, beating the Spirit 107 - 97 in Sydney in their final Australian National Basketball League regular season game.
It was their second win of the final round.
Star guard CJ Bruton topscored with 30 points.
It was 49 - 48 to the Spirit at the half.
The Breakers now host Adelaide in Auckland on Thursday in a sudden death quarter final with the winner to play the Tigers in a best-of-three series in Melbourne starting on February 25th.
The Wildcats will host the Townsville Crocodiles in Perth late on Wednesday in the other quarter final, after beating Melbourne in the final game of the regular season to leap over the Crocodiles into fourth spot.
The victor of the Perth-Townsville elimination clash qualifies for a semi-final series against minor premiers South Dragons.
