The British great Laura Davies defied tough windy conditions to fire a closing round of 68 to win her second Australian Womens Golf Open yesterday, at the Metropolitan club in Melbourne.
The 45 year old fomer world number one finished 7 under-par at the Met, one stroke ahead of Spain's Tania Elosegui.
Davies, with a career record of 71 titles including four majors, is aiming to return to the world's top-10 this year.
