Premiership front-runners Manchester United have beaten Derby County 4-1 at Pride Park, while Everton beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Goodison Park to reach the quarter-finals of English football's FA Cup.
United were pushed all the way by the Championship (second division) strugglers in the League Cup semi-finals last month but cruised home this time with goals by Nani, Darron Gibson, Cristiano Ronaldo and Danny Welbeck.
Everton ended Villa's 16-game domestic unbeaten run with goals by Jack Rodwell and Tim Cahill either side of a Mikel Arteta penalty.
Chelsea, who beat Watford 3-1 yesterday, are the only other team definitely through so far.
In the quarter-finals Manchester United play Swansea or Fulham, Chelsea play Blackburn or Coventry, Everton play Middlesbrough or West Ham and Sheffield United or Hull play Cardiff or Arsenal or Burnley.
