Cricketers return home looking ahead to India

The New Zealand cricketers have arrived back home looking to put behind them a frustrating tour of Australia, that saw them go close to winning their first one day tournament there in almost 30 years.

Boyant after winning the first two one-dayers, the mood in the camp changed over the last week, as they saw the Chappell -Hadlee trophy slip from their grasp in the final three games and to top it off the Black Caps then lost by just one run last night's tour ender a Twenty20 match in Sydney which has left skipper Dan Vettori hugely disappointed.

The side must now re-group to take on India in two Twenty-20 matches, five one dayers and three tests.

The tour opening 20-20 game is in Christchurch on Wednesday week.
