Dustin Johnson wins rain-shortened Pebble Beach tournament

The 24 year old American golfer Dustin Johnson has won the weather-hit Pebble Beach National Pro-Am without having to hit a shot on the final day.

Johnson had led the event by four shots after three rounds, and the tournament was finally abandonned this morning after heavy rain and strong winds on California's Monterrey Peninsula for the last two days.

Johnson's second career title moves him into the world's top 50 and qualifies him for The Masters in April, and the US Open in June.
