The West Indies cricket team batting to survive

The West Indies have reached 55 for 1at stumps on the second day of the third cricket test at the Antigua Recreation Ground in reply to England's first innings of 566 for 9 declared.

The Windies lost captain Chris Gayle for 30 but opening batsman Devon Smith and night-watchman Darren Powell survived the last session of the day to finish 511 runs behind England with two days left to play.

Paul Collingwood scored a century for England.
