All the favourites are through to the semi-finals of the mens single sculls at the National Rowing championships on Lake Ruataniwha.
Peter Taylor and Storm Uru - competing in heavyweight and lightweight double and single scull events this week as well as the quadruple scull - dominated their races, and Nathan Cohen, clocked the fastest single sculls time of the regatta.
Also in the semis will be current lightweight world champions Duncan Grant and Graham Oberlin-Brown.
In the women's Premier single the experienced Paula Twining lead the way for Waikato, who filled the last places for the final courtesy of Odette Sceats and Tale Gjortz.
