The All Black second five Ma'a Nonu says he's not suprised he's been dropped for the Hurricanes second super 14 game against the Highlanders after battling to find form in the loss against the New South Wales Waratahs last weekend.
Nonu admits he struggled to break the advantage line and set up players outside him.
He's been replaced by Southland's Jason Kawau in the Hurricanes midfield.
