Breakers counting on experience

8:35 am on 19 February 2009

The Breakers will have no shortage of experience in their line-up for tonight's Australian National Basketball League quarter-final against Adelaide at the North Shore Events centre.

Forward Tony Ronaldson is one of only two men to have played more than 600 games in the ANBL and point guard CJ Bruton is another playoff veteran - as is Dillon Boucher, while Kirk Penney and Phill Jones, who have all reached the post season elsewhere.

Coach Andrej Lemanis says that sort of experience is vital with Adelaide at full strength and able to call on players such as the 2.16-metre centre Luke Schenscher, a former NBA player.
