Venus Williams won her first tennis title of the season as she claimed the WTA Tour's Dubai Open on her fourth attempt in a straight sets victory.
Williams defeated Virginie Razzano 6-4 6-2 to follow up her second straight defeat of her sister Serena in the semi-finals, beating the 58th-ranked Frenchwoman in just over 90 minutes.
It was Williams' 40th career singles title.
