Vettori optimistic about Taylor

As the New Zealand cricketers prepare for tomorrow's opening Twenty 20 match against India their captain Daniel Vettori says the tourists thoroughly deserve their formidable reputation .

But Vettori says the Black Caps are more comfortable at home and have a pretty good record at there.

And he's is optimistic about the injured batsman's Ross Taylor's chances of helping them enhance that record in Christchurch.

Vettori says Taylor's gone through most of the routines, batted in the nets and done more than light jogging in training.

He says there'll be a decision tomorrow but he's hopeful Taylor will be able to play because he's such an important part of the team.
