Justin Vaughan says tour pstponement makes good sense

New Zealand Cricket and Zimbabwe Cricket have agreed to postpone the Black Caps July tour of Zimbabwe for 11 months.

The decision came after discussions between New Zealand Cricket's Chief Executive Justin Vaughan and his Zimbabwe counterpart Ozias Bvute during the ICC chief executives' conference in Johannesburg.

Vaughan says he told the Zimbabweans of the New Zealand government's opposition to the tour and they understood and probably expected to be told that.

He says they asked about the Black Caps schedule next year and their suggestion of a June tour makes good sense.
