Australian riders dominant

Australian riders have filled the first three places in the the Women's Cycle Tour of New Zealand from Wellington to Masterton with the New Zealand national team's Joanne Kiesanowski and Emma Petersen fourth and seventh.

The Australian national team's Rochelle Gilmore covered the 132 kilometres in 3 hours 24 minutes 29 seconds.

She tops the sprint standing too, with New Zealand's Karen Fulton fourth.

Today's 125-kilometre second stage includes six hill climbs and finishes with the 12-kilometre Top of the Mountain ride up Admirals Hill in Wairarapa.
