Top seed Venus Williams won her second tennis title in as many weeks, dethroning defending champion Flavia Pennetta 6-1 6-2 in the women's final of the Acapulco Open in Mexico.
Seven-time grand slam winner Williams won her 10th match in a row and her 20th in 21 starts, overpowering the Italian second seed for her 41st career title, which came a week after she won at Dubai.
Pennetta had reached her sixth consecutive final in the event, having also won in 2005 with losses in 2004, 2006 and 2007. She has not won a title since taking the sixth of her career there last year.
