The former New Zealand sevens captain Eric Rush has passed on some advice to the side taking part in the IRB sevens World Cup in Dubai this weekend.
Rush was part of the team that won the World Cup back in 2001, and the side that won the Commonwealth Gold medals at three consecutive games.
He says however, the achievements of the past means nothing to the new players and he told them that when they met up this week in Dubai....
New Zealand's first match is against Italy starting just before 5am Friday morning... they play the Arabian Gulf and Tonga in their other pool matches.
