All Whites won't play in Indonesia this month

The All Whites won't play a football match in Indonesia later this month because of security concerns.

The Indonesian FA has notified New Zealand Football that due to security concerns around the upcoming legislative elections on April first, the friendly won't take place.

New Zealand play Thailand on March 28th in Bangkok and are looking to replace the Indonesia fixture with another match in Thailand or elsewhere in the region.

The decision to cancel the fixture was not linked to yesterday's attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan.
