The Spanish motorcyclist Dani Pedrosa has fractured his arm and deeply cut his knee in testing in Qatar and will have to undergo surgery which could affect his MotoGP pre-season preparations.
Pedrosa is to undergo surgery today.
The Honda rider, who finished last season in third place in the MotoGP series, is scheduled to take part in official testing at the end of the month in Spain.
