The New Zealand Davis Cup team has completed a 5-0 win over Malaysia in the first round Asia/Oceania Group Two Davis Cup tennis tie at Albany.
IN the reverse singles GD Jones beat Adam Jaya 6-3 6-3 with Adam Thompson also taking just over an hour to beat Abd-Hazli Bin 6-0 6-2 .
New Zealand now faces the tougher task of either Indonesia or Kuwait in the next round to be held indoors in New Plymouth from the 10th to the 12th of July.
Indonesia lead Kuwait 2-1 going into the reverse singles.
