An experienced New Zealand track cycling team has been named for the UCI World Championships in Poland this month. [March 25th]
The 12 strong squad includes a number of Olympians - including Jesse Sergeant and Alison Shanks.
The pair are seen as New Zealand's big hopes in the individual pursuit and both will spearhead strong team pursuit line-ups as well.
Also heading to Poland is veteran Hayden Godfrey, who will defend the Omnium title he won at last year's World Championships.
The New Zealand team will train in Invercargill for the next week before heading to Poland.
