The Olympic baseball champions South Korea have upset title holders Japan 1-0 in a cliffhanger to claim top spot in Pool A of the World Baseball Classic.
Korea's win gave them instant revenge after a humiliating 14-2 loss to their fierce rivals in their first meeting at the weekend.
Both teams are through to the next phase of the tournament.
