Coach Todd Blackadder says it's quite right there are questions over the Crusaders Super 14 performances this season but he's confident they're on the right track despite what the scoreboard may say.
The defending champions have lost their last three games and currently sit 9th on the table after the Highlanders chalked up their first win of the season, beating the Cruaders six nil at the weekend.
Blackadder was expected to continue leading the Crusaders on their winning way when Robbie Deans departed to become the Wallabies coach, but Blackadder says he knew there'd be hiccups along the way.
