The New Zealand women's cricket coach Gary Stead has called it the best bowling and fielding display he's seen from his side as they scored their third straight win at the ICC World Cup in Australia to top their pool for the Super Sixes stage of the tournament.
The White Ferns beat South Africa by 199 runs, scoring 250 for five with Sara McGlashan making an unbeaten 88, Amy Satterthwaite 73 and Nicola Browne 51.
The South Africans were then bowled out for 51 in the 23rd over with Suzie Bates taking four wickets for seven runs and Aimee Mason four wickets for two runs.
Stead says he's been demanding a performance like this from The White Ferns and they delivered.
They now take on England in their first Super Six match on Saturday at Bankstown Oval .
The other teams into the Super Six are Australia, West Indies, India and Pakistan.
