The Citroen driver Sebastien Loeb leads going into the final day of the Cyprus Rally despite winning only one of the day's five stages.
The Frenchman, chasing a record 50th championship victory, has a 49-second lead over the second placed Mikko Hirvonen in a Ford.
Citroen's Dani Sordo is in third place while former world champion Petter Solberg battled into fourth spot after winning two of the day's stages.
There are three more stages before the finish.
