Black Caps beat India in cricket one dayer

The Black Caps have beaten India by eight wickets in the final one day cricket international in Auckland.

India were bowled out for just 149 in 36 overs and New Zealand needed just 23 over to secure the win.

Jesse Ryder was man of the match, taking a career best three for 29 and then following up with 63 off 49 balls with the bat.

He and Martin Guptill, who was 57 not out at the end, put on 84 for the second wicket to set up the win. Ross Taylor was the other not out batsman on 28.

India won the series 3-1.
