The English County cricket club Surrey have signed the New Zealand all-rounder Grant Elliott as their overseas player for the opening weeks of the new county season.
The 30-year-old, who was born in South Africa, is due to arrive on April 21st and will stay until the end of May.
Elliott has played three Tests and 21 one-day matches for New Zealand.
And he hit his maiden international century in a one-dayer against Australia in Sydney last month.
Elliott is expected to be available for five Friends Provident Trophy games, two Championship fixtures and five Twenty20 Cup matches during his spell at The Oval.
