The New Zealand cricket captain Dan Vettori says a decision on whether the off-spinner Jeetan Patel will play in the first test against India will be made after the pitch inspection in Hamilton tomorrow morning.
And although it's been suggested who ever wins the toss should bowl first Vettori isn't so sure that's the right option on the Seddon Park pitch.
He says the pitch looks alright and should be pretty flat so he'd consider batting first.
