Dallaglio backs Wales to beat Ireland

Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio has backed Wales to win the final game of rugby's Six Nations championship on Sunday and deny Ireland their first grand slam for 61 years.

Wales, who recorded their 10th grand slam last season, need to beat Ireland by 13 points at the Millennium stadium to retain the title.

Dallaglio says Ireland and Wales have been the most consistent sides so it's fair the last game

decide the championship is between them.

But he says it will be hard for Ireland to win away from home and Wales will start as favourites despite an experimental side struggling to beat Italy in Rome last weekend.
