Stacey Jones to pick up where he left off with Warriors

The 'little general' Stacey Jones will be playing in a repeat of his last National Rugby League match, when he makes his eagerly anticipated return to the NRL for the Warriors against Manly at Brookvale Oval on Sunday.

The Warriors won that match in 2005 and his teamates are hoping he'll be able to repeat the same magic

Back on a one-year contract, the 32-year-old Jones missed the round one win over Parramatta with a calf strain but has been named on the interchange bench for this weekend's match replacing the injured utility Lance Hohaia.

Despite his vast experience, Jones admits to feeling somewhat nervous although he's taken some comfort from his trial match performances.

Despite their first up win the Warriors acknowledge they face a big challenge against Manly with the defending premiers looking to rebound from a shock first round loss to last year's wooden spooners the Bulldogs.

The Warriors have made several changes to the side that beat Parramatta with Jacob Lillyman coming in for Ben Matulino, who suffered an ankle injury, in the second row.

Also in the forwards Sam Rapira has been named in the run on side with Russell Packer coming off the bench.

Former Newcastle prop Jesse Royal, a late acquisition for the 2009 season, also joins the line-up.

Forward Michael Luck, who was concussed in the match will undergo further tests before he's confirmed in the line up.
