Cricket stumps score

India are just one run behind New Zealand at stumps on the second day of the first cricket test in Hamilton with the tourists 278 for four.

India started the day at 29 for none, as they chased the Black Caps first innings total of 279.

The New Zealand bowlers have struggled, with all the Indian batsmen all getting a start.

Gautam Gambhir's topscored with 72, although Sachin Tendulkar is unbeaten on 70.

Chris Martin is the most successful of the Black Cap bowlers picking up two wickets.
