Ferguson dismisses 'quintuple' talk

Manchester United's manager Sir Alex Ferguson does not believe his team will win an unprecedented five major trophies this season - but he says the current squad is the best he's had during more than two decades at Old Trafford.

United have already won the Club World Cup and English League Cup this term and are currently four points clear at the top of the Premier League with chances to win both the FA Cup and the European Champions League.

However, the Scottish boss - who took charge of United in 1986 following a successful spell as Aberdeen manager - is adamant that at least one key result will go against his side.

Ferguson says it's too much to expect their luck to hold.
