Warriors beat Manly

Stacey Jones has inspired the Warriors to a comeback 26-24 over Manly in a NRL game before 16,000 in Sydney.

The win puts the Warriors at the top of the NRL competition along with Bulldogs and Brisbane.

Jones, in his comeback game, set up tries in 73rd and 79th minutes as the Warriors came back from 24-16 down to grab the game in the last minute.

Earlier another veteran player Steve Price had set up two tries as the Warriors came back from an early 10-0 deficit to jump to a 16-10 lead at halftime.

Brent Tait scored two tries for the Warriors with Manu Vatuvei, Jerome Ropati and Jesse Royal also touching down.

Manly also scored five tries.

In other games Parramatta beat South Sydney 14-8, Brisbane beat Melbourne 16-14, St George beat Gold Coast 16-10, the Bulldogs beat Penrith 28-26, North Queensland beat the West Tigers 42-14 and the Roosters beat Canberra 28-4.
