Top seed Rafael and world tennis number one Rafael Nadal has crushed British world number four Andy Murray in straight sets, in a ruthless display of hardcourt tennis to win the Indian Wells ATP Masters title.

The Spanish left-hander dictated most of the rallies from the baseline before wrapping up the win in an hour and 20 minutes.

Nadal, broke Murray in the fourth and sixth games to sweep through the opening set in just over 40 minutes 6-1 and then taking the second 6-2.
