The All Black prop Tony Woodcock is still battlng an ear infection and isn't available for the Blues' Super 14 rugby match with the New South Wales Waratahs in Auckland on Friday night.

It'll be the third game Woodcock's missed and the team's doctor Stephen Karah says the infection's affecting his balance, and there's no way of knowing how long it'll take to come right.

Coach Pat Lam says fortunately Tevita Mailau's been a capable replacement at loosehead,.

After the big loss to the Chiefs Lam's re-shuffled the backline to stiffen a defence which leaked nine tries in Hamilton.

Isaia Toeava moves to centre with Anthony Tuitavake moving to the right wing, and Paul Williams taking over fromn Toeava at fullback.

And Jamie Helleuer comes in at second five with Michael Hobbs going to the bench.

The veteran flanker Justin Collins is out with a hamstring injury and Onosa'i Auva'a takes his place.
