The Hamilton golfer Mark Purser has started well at the Black Mountain Masters in Thailand.
With three top-10 finishes behind him in his rookie year on the Asian tour, Purser's opening round of 69 has him tied for 16th, five strokes behind the leader, Swede Johan Edfors.
