9:48 am on 27 March 2009

The New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor says it was good to get some runs on the board after not making a significant score for some time.

Taylor came into bat with Jesse Ryder when New Zealand was in deep trouble at 23-3 to put on a history making partnership 271 the highest for a fourth wicket partnership against an Indian side.

Taylor who made 151 says he was pretty nervous but admits he was lucky to reach that target after being being dropped on four and 92.
