England's cricket captain Andrew Strauss has backed Andy Flower to become England's full-time coach.

Flower is filling in during the five-match one day series in West Indies and Strauss says he's struck up a good relationship with the former Zimbabwe captain.

England have been without a full-time coach since Peter Moores was sacked in January after his relationship with former captain Kevin Pietersen broke down.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (hope to have a full-time coach in place before the home series against West Indies in May.
