The Invercargill rider Eddie Dawkins has finished 10th in the men's one kilometre time trial at the world track cycling championships in Poland.
Germany's Stefan Nimke averaged 59.341 kilometres an hour in his winning time of just over a minute - just over two seconds ahead of the New Zealander.
