The Highlanders have ended the Bulls' unbeaten run in rugby's Super 14 competition.
The Dunedin-based Highlanders, playing in Palmerston North, beat the Bulls 36-12 before a crowd of more than 10,000.
The Highlanders scored tries through Jason Shoemark, Daniel Bowden, Jimmy Cowan, Matt Berquist and Israel Dagg.
