Britain's Andy Murray crushed Viktor Troicki 6-1 6-0 to surge into the Sony Ericsson Tennis Open quarter-finals in Miami.

The Scot needed just 58 minutes to move into the last eight, winning 83 percent of first service points as he totally dominated his Serbian opponent.

Fourth seed Murray will face either the Czech Radek Stepanek or Spain's Fernando Verdasco.

Serbia's third-seeded Novak Djokovic thrashed Czech Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-2 and will meet Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who fought back for a 6-7 6-3 6-2 win over compatriot Gilles Simon.
